Maruti Baleno Price: The premium hatchback is now priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 9.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Baleno Variants: It can be had in four trims: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.
Maruti Baleno Engine and Transmission: Propulsion duties are carried out by a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine (90PS/113Nm), paired to a standard 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT. The engine comes with idle-start/stop technology instead of the previously offered mild-hybrid tech. The claimed mileage figures for the MT is 22.35kmpl, while that of the AMT is 22.94kmpl. An optional CNG kit is set to be introduced soon.
Maruti Baleno Features: The hatchback gets a slew of new features, including a segment-first head-up display, 360-degree camera, and LED fog lamps. Other features include revised LED projector headlights, an Arkamys-tuned sound system, a rearview camera, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and cruise control. Features such as auto climate control, push-button start/stop, and keyless entry have been carried over from the older model.
Maruti Baleno Safety: Safety features include up to six airbags, ESP (electronic stability control), and hill hold assist. The ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD, and speed alert system have been retained.
Maruti Baleno Rivals: The Maruti Baleno takes on the Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, Citroen C3, and the facelifted Toyota Glanza.
